Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

So, we didn't make the sign-ups, but due to various circumstances, we MIGHT end up with a table at Anime Matsuri.... I am not sure how I feel about this, as I've been utterly devoid of ANY art/creativity lately and can't be arsed since I still need a friggin' desk.

However, I'll probably get over it and end up super excited eventually!

I was going to try and finish my Jansen costume (lul) but since it's still so far from done, it may have to wait even longer. But I've decided that for the table (or at AFest if we don't get this one) I'm totally going to cosplay as Tsukimi from Kuragehime. 8D It's literally a grey sweatsuit (although I might go FANCY and go with the sweatshirt/skirt combo) and no one will get it, but I will be happy and then *Leechu and ~zenzen-zero can cosplay too and we can be the Amars peddling our jellyfish wares~!

When I am unispired or have art block, I go back to my roots.
I grab my favorite anime series, regardless of how many times I've seen it.
I grab my favorite manga(s) of all times, and I grab my favorite artbooks.
Then I blow off some steam and chill reading and watching things. It always puts me back in perspective!
I then go an draw drawings for a few hours, and remember why I love doing this!! ^ ^

Woooo more cosplay! I'm so jealous, there is like nothing going on here anime related (at least that I know of). There was a con a few months back, but I think that was all the way in Uppsala. Suck.
